It's Shazzam! all over again. How do they do it? Apple has another remarkable product in their line up, the Airport Express. It's a three-in-one device: tiny wireless access point, wireless music streaming server, and wireless-to-wired network bridge. All for $130.
This thing sounds like an amazing feat of engineering, considering the reported size: five by five inches and about two inches thick. That's about the size of my Powerbook's power supply (aka wall wart, because when plugged in to a wall power socket, it sorta looks like a wart protuding from the wall.)
Apple is really on the bandwagon with all their remarkable devices, year in and year out. If they keep this up, and I believe they will to great success, that present 25+ % market share is soon going to become 30 % and growing, and pretty soon, Mac OS X will own the Unix desktop market, with Linux a far second.
You heard it here first, folks. Don't say I didn't tell ya. :-)
